September 20 is the deadline for registering for the Central Coast Birding Rally. If you have not already done so, contact the Registration Chairman, Dean Wineman by telephone at 805-925-0304 or by email at deanwineman at hotmail.com. Registration forms can also be downloaded from the internet. http://lpas.westhost.com/rally/register.htm . Both Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat PDF formats are available on the website.



The Central Coast Birding Rally weekend will kick off Friday, October 3 with a reception at the Taco Ranchero Bar & Grill in the Vandenberg Village Day's Inn. The reception offers out of town birders an advance opportunity to learn more about the three sites they will be birding during the Saturday rally. No Host Bar. Soft drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided. A raffle will be held with tickets being sold at the reception.
