Walked the Loop Trail this morning north of East Wenatchee, Douglas County
on 15 September 2003. Entered from the 27 St Parking Lot.

Whimbrel...one was flushed from a narrow cobble beach by a Northern Harrier.
The Whimbrel flew,calling, across the river to Confluence State Park.

Clark's Grebe... two on the river just out from the 27 St Parking Lot.
Reported as being here last Sat. by Dan Stephens.

Peregrine Falcon...one immature flying back and forth along the river.

Brown-headed Cowbird... a flock of 9 in a horse pasture. Some were in juv
plumage and some were molting. The molting birds had a blotchy pattern.

Yellow-rumped Warbler...75+, only Audubon's form could be found.

Savannah Sparrow...40+

Yellow Warbler...6

Warbling Vireo...4

MacGillivray's Warbler...1

Wilson's Warbler...2

Mew Gull...one hatch year bird with Ring-billed Gulls along the river last
evening, 14 September. Loop Tr, 27 St Parking Lot.
