Upcoming Classes from Tahoma Audubon Society, Pierce County, WA:

Beginning birding with Marcus Roening
Starting Oct. 27 at 6:45 p.m.
Marcus Roening, who is a Master Birder and past president of both the
Washington Ornithological Society and the Tahoma Audubon Society, will again
share his birding knowledge in a series of beginning birding classes over
three Mondays beginning Oct. 27 at the Tacoma Nature Center. The class also
includes two local bird watching trips on weekends. Registration is $30 for
TAS members and $50 for non-members.

Intermediate Birding with Ken Brown
Starting Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
Popular field trip leader and instructor Ken Brown will again teach
Intermediate Birding over a series of six Tuesdays beginning Oct. 7 at the
Tahoma Audubon Center at Adriana Hess Wetlands Park. Class is open to the
first 20 paid participants, and in addition to class time it will include
four field trips including a shorebird trip to the coast, a local trip, a
visit to the Skagit Valley, and a three-day trip to Eastern Washington.
Registration costs $55 for TAS members and $75 for non-members.
