Tweetsters -- My husband and I stopped for a bit at Ridgefield National
Wildlife Refuge today and had the pleasure to see six AMERICAN BITTERN
from the observation blind on the auto tour route on the S unit. From
the same blind, we saw about a dozen GREAT EGRETS. And as we were
driving out, we saw at a considerable distance to the south, up against
a bluff, about 50 or so SANDHILL CRANES.
