Sunday, 9/20, 8:58 pm. This is Rachel Lawson at 206 282 5593. This weekend
the WOS conference was held on the Long Beach peninsula, and the most unusual
bird seen during the conference was a TROPICAL KINGBIRD. It was first spotted
on Saturday morning by Ollie Oliver and was seen by many observers all day
Saturday and I believe also on Sunday morning. The bird was seen in
Oysterville at 33614 Territory Rd in the historic district of Oysterville and
was flying around in an open field with some blackberry bushes and fence posts
and small trees.

Today at Bottle Beach State Park near Westport, outgoing tide, I saw a
juvenile HUDSONIAN GODWIT. He's traveling with a large group of BLACK BELLIED
