Hey, Tweets.
In addition to being a birder, I am also a photographer. I've been
percolating some ideas for a photography project about feathers--probably
macro photography.
As it's molting season, I've had some luck finding feathers on the ground;
it's pretty painstaking, eye-killing work, but very rewarding. Of course,
some types are easier to glean than others (pigeons, crows), but I am after
the more elusive ones (flickers, herons, woodpeckers).
Does anyone have any suggestions re: places/methods I could use to help me
in this quest?
