After reading Mike Denny's posting, we went out to the Detour Rd site (N. E.
corner, at MacDonald). The sharp-tailed Sandpiper was still there along with
8 Pectoral Sandpipers, 20+ Killdeer, 8 Wilson's Snipe, 4 Greater
Yellow-legs, 1 Lesser Yellow-legs, 4 Sandhill Cranes, 2 Great Blue Herron,
and the usual Ring-billed gulls, Brewer's Blackbirds, Mallards, Red-tailed
Hawk, N. Harrier, Am. Kestrel, Song Sparrow, W. Flycatcher, Red-wing
Blackbird, Yellow-rumped Warbler, N. Flicker (red and yellow shafted). The
other shore birds seemed to have flown on. We didn't find them even when we
looked for up to a mile in all directions from the junction.

Thanks, Mike and MerryLynn for your great posting!
