Tweeters: Had an opportunity to do the pelagic trip on Saturday from Westport. Great trip with great guides. Don't know why we can't do something similar on a regular basis in B.C., but then, I guess that's another story. On Sunday morning I drove down to Tokeland, and on the foreshore were 3 Long-billed Curlews, and a Whimbrel. In the harbour were a large ( 75+), flock of Marbled Godwits; ( couldn't pick out any Hudsonians or Bar-tailed ). Also in the harbour area was a Wandering Tattler. Good weekend for birding despite the very warm temps.
