Tweeters,
The cool wind in the unsheltered area next to the shore kept scan time down for me (in my tropical shirt--no vest or jacket...poor planning on my part). No OSPREY seen during this scan, but I think they're still around. This is the first time I've not seen an Osprey since March. Dead fish on the shore meant meals for the numerous gulls and crows.

Birds seen today included the following:
Pied-billed Grebe
Double-crested Cormorant
Great Blue Heron (2)
Mallard (6)
Killdeer (5)
Mew Gull (8)
Glaucous-winged Gull (19)
Rock Pigeon (20)
American Crow (16)
European Starling (~50)
Song Sparrow

May all your birds be identified,

Denis DeSilvis
