Hello Tweeters, just got back from a trip to see the LOGGERHEAD SHRIKE with
Gary Wiles. It was right where everyone else saw it (1.2 miles from the
Keyes RD entrance on Wenzel-Slough RD) perched on some of the fence posts
and then in the shrubbery. Nice looks. We were fogged in at about 7:40,
but on our return visit (about 9:15) we had much better looks. 1 O/C WARBLER
singing in the fog somewhere. Also heard some SNIPE winnowing.

Stopped at the Brady Loop RD after that hoping for the Golden Eagle. The
fog put a damper on that idea, but we did refind the PINK-FOOTED GOOSE along
Foster RD (east side of the road) with 2 W/FRONTEDS. Also saw 3 Kestrel, 1
R/L HAWK, and a Bald Eagle. Heard Savannah Sparrows and Common
Yellowthroats at both locations.
