Yesterday, while cleaning out the bluebird boxes along the Wenas trail, we had a female mountain bluebird take exception to our car. She sat on the mirrors and attacked her reflection. She flew around the car and landed on the windows.

Unfortunately, she has chosen a territory that includes a popular pull-out area about 100' from a nest box. She has her work cut out for her, as she also tried to chase off two other cars while we were there.
