12:05pm start - water level very low with most of the "normal" mudflats exposed
12:32pm end

Tweeters,
Another fine day, with most of the usual suspects around. One of the OSPREYS was having lunch on a low crossbar of the west power tower. Four COMMON MERGANSERS were feeding at the edge of the shoreline across from my position. I heard WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS singing from both this side (east bank) and the opposite side of the river. A harbor seal drifted by the goose exclusion area.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (2; not a pair)
Gadwall (3; a pair and an interloper)
Mallard (2; a pair)
Bufflehead (2; possibly a pair)
Common Merganser (4; one male, 3 females)
Double-crested Cormorant
Osprey
Mew Gull (64)
Glaucous-winged Gull (3)
Rock Pigeon (20; 8 of which were feeding on the drier parts of the mudflats)
American Crow (24; 19 in the trees near the power substation)
European Starling (37; 15 of which were feeding on the drier parts of the mudflats)
Song Sparrow
White-crowned Sparrow (2; heard)
Red-winged Blackbird (2)
House Finch (2; usual pair)
House Sparrow

May all your birds be identified,
