Hello, Yes of course protect your sources Martyn, but please do post dates and locations for those 2 sightings which you mentioned, as I would like to add them to my records. It was my understanding that Swainson's Thrushes were very unusual anywhere north of the Mexican border in winter, so I hope your mate in Arizona has reported the winter sightings to the proper places.
