I drove out to Bottle Beach today with the wife and daughter to enjoy the
sunshine. We got there just before high tide around 1pm. There were about
seven shorebirds present including 3 Black-bellied Plovers (two in breeding
plumage), 1 Dunlin, and 3 Dowitchers. On the trail, Common Yellowthroat and
Orange-crowned Warblers were singing everywhere.
