Hi Tweets, this morning I took a drive out to Brady Loop and Wenzel Slough
Rd.. Most notably is that the Pink-footed Goose continues along Foster Rd.
with 3 Greater White-fronted Geese and 160 Canada Geese. Also, along Foster
Rd., in the flooded grassy field on the northern end of the road, I counted
at least 10 Greater Yellowlegs today. This is the most I've had this spring
so far in that location. Over by the intersection of Brady Loop Rd. and
Willis St., in the low-lying pond there was a nice flock of American Wigeon
with one male Cinnamon Teal mixed in.

My drive down Wenzel Slough Rd. was a quick one with most of my time spent
at looking for the Loggerhead Shrike. I spotted the shrike in the same area
that it has been for nearly two weeks now. I hope some of you weekend
birders get down this way to see it.
