Greetings all:

Last Friday the 2 Great Horned owlets in our nesting structure looked fine.
Tuesday we watched owlet one devour its sibling, while an adult helped peel
off the meat. Not sure if owlet two just up and died or if owlet one whacked
it....

On Wednesday a banded Rock Dove / Rock Pigeon showed up at our home. A green
band on each leg. It has been hanging around ever since, and although it is
tame, it's not tame enough to get a hold of. Hopefully it will go home
before the goshawk snares it....
