Very brief...

I've been able to add Violet-green Swallows to my yard list, saw them last
weekend going after insects in the AM (8-ish).

White-Crowned Sparrows have been singing around town in earnest, was
delighted to start hearing them last weekend.

Yesterday a mature Bald Eagle was flying around near the ferry terminal,
pretty low down, got a good look at it and the gulls in hot pursuit!
