Thank you so much for the info Mike, I have been down to Sikes Lake for the
last 4 weeks on a Sunday and got them all out at church!! Nobody about but
Red-Wings and Geese :( I have just been very unlucky I think, someone told
me about Sykes Lake being very fruitful but it is yet to bear some for me!
Good grief, it just sank in, Sora there too? I need another few trips I
think :)

Sikes Lake on Carnation farms Road (Carnation) is also a great place for
recordings of Virginia Rail, Sora, and Bittern. I'll send directions if you
are interested and if you tell me where you would be coming from.
