Subject: Birding groups

Hello Tweeters,

I am interested in joining some birdwatching groups or find some women that
go out mid-week that would want a partner. I have been following the
threads and it seems that people live far and wide. Is there anyone near
Renton that would want to birding partner mid-week? I am willing to drive
into Seattle or anywhere in a 30 mile radius (or so). Some of my favorite
haunts are Juanita Bay, Discovery Park, Mercer Slew, Nisqually Wildlife
Refuge and Spencer Island, but I am open to anything new. I do not feel
comfortable as a woman to go out alone and would love to meet some new
birding friends.

Thanks

Nancy Lander
