I was out this morning and found plenty of migrants. There were 80+ BN Stilts at the north end of Columbia NWR, and 44+ at the Couny Line ponds. The Ross's Goose was there again with 8,000 Canada Geese. Also 15+ Dunlin and 29 Am. Avocets. Sandhill Cranes are still here, with more than 4,000 in 4 different roosts, inluding nearly 2900 east of Corfu and 400+ around noon in Marsh Unit 1 (with 25+ Greater White-fronted Geese). One of the cranes is an albinistic individual that really stands out. Most interesting was a single Western Kingbird at the Corfu area and two kingbirds a few miles NE near McManamon Road. These are about 10 days earlier than I have ever recorded in this area.

Have 15 white-crowned sparrows, 3 ruby-crowned kinglets and 1 orange-crowned warbler here in my yard. A good sign early migration is on here on the eastside of Washington.
