Hi Nancy,

There are two Audubon chapters in your area which take numerous field trips around Puget Sound. Rainier Audubon (www.rainieraudubon.org) and East Lake Washington Audubon (www.elwas.org). ELWAS is my chapter, so I can give you more information about it. We have almost weekly field trips. Our "Hot Spots" trip is every fourth Monday, which goes to a different place each month. We also have a monthly walk at Juanita Bay Park every 3rd Tuesday ( 9 am to noon). Check out the website for more information. You don't need to be a member to participate in any of our field trips, but some you might need to sign up for ahead of time.

If you've never birded Marymoor Park (Bellevue/Redmond), Michael Hobbs leads a weekly walk there every Wednesday (6:30 am!). He meets at the off-leash dog area parking lot.
