Hi tweets,

Mary Anne Thorbeck, Phyllis Stark and I observed a Western Kingbird while on
a scouting trip I am leading tomorrow for Seattle Audubon. It was perched
on a fence wire near mile marker 11 on the Lower River Rd. west of Vancouver
Washington. (Delorme p. 22 C-3) It's always good to see one this side of
the mountains and it does seem to be quite early, according to Opperman
2003.

Good birding, Alan Roedell, Seattle roedell at speakeasy.net
