I was walking Ruston Way on the Tacoma waterfront yesterday and saw the famed Albino Yellow-Billed Loon twice. At 6pm he was at the Les Davis pier. He actually was in the water between the shore and the east end of the pier. Could have spit on him from the walkway. :-) He was farther East just past Katie Downs at 6:40. Diving and eating many fish. Pretty cool to see this bird again. I did not expect to see him this late in the year. Is this in the norm?
