Subject: Where did they (the feeder birds) go?

Lyle and all,

Many of the feeder birds are now on their nesting territories, which may no
longer include your feeder. (Outside the nesting season birds are not so
territorial.) They're busy finding caterpillars (not suet, as far as I know
and not bird seed) for their young.

Subject: Where did they go?

Hi tweeters. I really enjoy this group even though I don't say much. I have
a question now though. My backyard has be a joy to me with the variety of
birds that visit my feeder and suet. The last 3 weeks the numbers have
drops dramatically. I rarely see anything now except for a couple of Jays.
I haven't changed anything and I sure miss them. I live in Lake Forest Park
north of Seattle up on a hill. I can hear a great variety of birds in the
area but none in my yard. Any ideas????

Thanks,

Lyle Melton
