I, too, am missing all the variety of birds. Mostly just House Sparrows,
Robins & Steller's Jays, but I did spy a Golden- crowned Sparrow in with the
House Sparrows, yesterday.

The oddest thing happened last week. Two Chickadees were busily going in
and out of one of my bird houses, carrying nesting material. There was a
sudden lack of activity over the week-end, and then I noticed that one of
the birds was still entering, but was taking the nesting material out! Any
ideas of what happened?

> Hi tweeters. I really enjoy this group even though I don't say much. I
have a question now though. My backyard has be a joy to me with the variety
of birds that visit my feeder and suet. The last 3 weeks the numbers have
drops dramatically. I rarely see anything now except for a couple of Jays.
I haven't changed anything and I sure miss them. I live in Lake Forest Park
north of Seattle up on a hill. I can hear a great variety of birds in the
area but none in my yard. Any ideas????
