While I didn't pay much attention to the recent notes about whether geese
nest in trees, I was reminded of them yesterday while walking with my family
at Nisqually. Walking along the western boardwalk, toward the twin barns,
we found a pair of Canada Geese apparently nesting in a large tree, in a
cavity formed where a big limb has broken off.
