11:48am start - water level mid; some mudbanks showing; looks like an outgoing tide
12:25pm end

Tweeters,
Definitely needed the shades outside today! Lots of goslings (two sets of 8, probably 1-2 weeks in age apart) and ducklings (an even dozen; very small), and one lone GREATER YELLOWLEGS. The latter was at the west side of the goose-exclusion area. The goslings, and adults, were at the edge of the same zone, but on the north side, facing the river. One OSPREY was tight on the nest at Hamm Creek. Could be an egg was laid this weekend.

A river otter made its way along the east bank below me.

Birds seen during this scan include the following:
Canada Goose (9 plus 16 goslings)
Gadwall (2)
Mallard (4 plus 12 ducklings)
Bufflehead (5)
Common Merganser (2)
