Sandpipers are flocking to Grays Harbor with at least 25,000 on Tuesday and more to come.

The Grays Harbor Shorebird Festival starts Friday, today for most readers. Spaces are available for most events. The festival headquarters are at Central Elementary in Hoquiam.

Also I saw at upwards of 100 least sandpipers at Nisqually at around 8pm today.
