Hi Tweeters,

The male Bullock's Oriole I saw this Tuesday at Medina
Park was not blown away by the storm and has been
joined by one other male. The nesting Great Blue
Heron's are doing well. The chicks in the third nest
from the top are very visible now. I saw 3 chicks
this morning in the nest. The Red Breasted Nuthatch
seems to have completed it's nest and was at the
entrance hole quivering his/her wings. Barn Swallows
were gathering mud at the edge of the pond for
nesting. Also accross the street at the golf course I
saw my first Cedar Waxwings of spring.

Speaking of the storm I am surprised no one has posted
about the fantastic footage of the Kent eagle nest
that had some big branches come down on the nest,
including a branch the male inadvertantly knocked onto
the nest in a crash landing. Amazing footage from the
