I will also volunteer that I did not see any Ptarmigan (or Solitaires) on
the Skyline Trail. I was up there on Saturday. When I was almost down to
the parking lot, I talked to a non-birding couple that had seen two
ptarmigan right next to the trail, along the east end of the Upper Skyline
Trail. I did see a few rosy finches, heard a hummingbird, saw a blue
grouse, robins, juncos.
