Change in the weather, but no rain at my observation area; south wind. It looks as if the Hamm Creek OSPREY site has fledged the three young, although they are still hanging around (and in) the nest. One adult bird was also at the nest.

Two LEAST SANDPIPERS were feeding at the end of the restoration peninsula (goose-exclusion area), with 14 KILLDEER nearby on the peninsula and across the outfall streambed to the east of there.

The blackberries have fruited prolifically, and many House Finches, European Starlings, House Sparrows, and others have been munching on the results. So too, have I.

One very large salmon jumped twice near the Boeing bridge: summer is winding down.
