With all the world travelers/birders in Tweeter Land, I am wondering if
anyone has birded in Turkey recently. In September, we're heading there
again (it's my 13th trip since 1976), and we plan to visit the central
area, from Goreme/Urgup to Adiyaman/Kahta (Nemrut Dag). I have the
Important Bird Area book, published by Dogal Hayati Koruma Dernegi in
1997, so will likely visit a few of the spots in that vicinty, and I am
going to try to see the bald ibises, if at all possible. Of course, we
will spend a few days in/around Istanbul. If anyone has anything of
interest to share with me about your birding experiences in Turkey, I'd
like to hear from you.

On the way to Turkey, we'll be attending the Goodwood vintage car event
in Chichester (southern coast of England, west of Brighton). Although
our time will be very limited there, I'd welcome any tips.

Thanks,
