I-182. Take Hwy 240 south toward Kennewick. 240 is essentially a bridge.
At the south end of the bridge take the exit for Columbia Drive. You come
to a stop sign; turn left onto Columbia Drive. In less than 100 yards,
there is a left turn which will get you back onto 240 but going north. Turn
left there but immediately turn right onto a gravel road that goes on the
west side of the city bus parking area. Follow the gravel road a short
distance north, over a big hump and down onto a gravel road. You can turn
left and park. View the mud of the west end of the Yakima River Delta, then
follow the gravel road east, stopping at open areas among the Russian Olives
to scan the mudflats.

Kerry and I found it about a quarter mile to the east, far across the water
and mudflats north of the gravel road.
