Tweets - sorry for the late report, but I left Marymoor early on Wednesday
to go to the airport to pick up my parents, who are visiting from Toronto.
It was cloudy, with rain threatening, most of the morning. There weren't
very many birds, though our species count was pretty good.
Highlights:
Green Heron A couple seen - one hidden in lilypads
Black Swift ~ 8 overhead above the parking lot
Anna's Hummingbird 2 in Pea Patch
Rufous Hummingbird 1 chasing Anna's in Pea Patch
Red-breasted Sapsucker 2 imms, 1 at mansion, 1 at Rowing Club
Brown Creeper 2 at E end of boardwalk, chased by WIWA
Wilson's Warbler Adult male at E end of boardwalk
For the day, 55 species. For the year, 129 species.
