This morning the stint put in an appearance on the west end of the delta as
early as 7:45 am. It remained for several hours. It was out of view for a
while and most of us then checked the mid-section of the delta where it was
not seen. It had returned to the west end but at a more distant view.

West end details: Walk past the road closed sign and around the bend to
the first (best) opening for viewing this area. It was sometimes quite
distant to the heartbreak of some viewers.

Mid-section: If unoccupied, the open area that has recently sustained some
fire damage seems to be the best viewpoint. Otherwise check from any
available opening.

Water levels at the delta are very unpredictable. So far there is mud.
