Hi Everyone,

Thanks to all of you who have posted on Tweeters re the Black-tailed Gull.
The descriptions and discussions on Tweeters were really helpful to me.
Scott Downes and I went over the AM and he located it after a short time. It was
my 650th NA species and I was really glad to get it with a special friend.
Many of you Tweeters have helped my reach this plateau and I want to thank
you too.

To the young man from Minneapolis that I spoke to yesterday in Port Angeles
while watching the Common Eider - shame on you for saying that "it is just a
gull". Serious Birders enjoy seeing all species of birds and especially the
very rarities that visit our area. Hopefully you will enjoy them as well.
