Dear Tweeters,

With Bar-tailed Godwit, Sharp-tailed Sandpiper, and
Stilt Sandpiper over in Clallam, nobody's going to
rush to Cockreham Island in Skagit County for a
Solitary Sandpiper. Still, the south pond there is
hosting some nice little shorebird flocks lately.
Yesterday there was a single (of course) Solitary
Sandpiper, with a handful each of Western and Least
Sandpiper, plus eight Killdeer (not bad for a little
pond). Last week we had a Short-billed Dowitcher and a
Greater Yellowlegs there.

=====

Yours truly,

Gary Bletsch
