Hello to all:

Just a note to report that we've been watching a covey of about 30 or so
Bobwhites (a mixed group of adults and juveniles) on Tiger Mountain about
halfway between Issaquah and Hobart in Mirrormont. This flock is the first
we've seen of them here in four years of watching, but they seem quite at
ease here in the cleared areas over grown with salal, blackberries, and
other snags.

We've also still at least one male rufous hummers flitting about as well -
though I expect him to take off any day now.
