The stint was present a long way up the west end of the delta at 1:45. One
could pick it out with a scope, but not see many details could be observed
other than the color and size compared to other distant peeps and
Killdeer. The water is going down at this time. Having birded this area a
lot, one thing we know for sure is that you cannot predict the water levels.

NOTE: Walking farther up the road for the most part does not produce good
results as the view is blocked by reeds. Bushwacking or climbing the
roadside flushes the birds into the inner delta (out of view). Please do
not walk out in the mud.

Also, no one has done this, but the WADOT has requested that no one block
the gate.

Thanks.
