Hello, this is the Audubon Society of Portland Rare Bird Report. This report

On August 10 a COMMON GRACKLE was reported from Florence.

Among the large influx of shorebirds this week were several BAIRD?S
SANDPIPERS, SOLITARY SANDPIPERS, and PECTORAL SANDPIPERS. A LONG-BILLED
CURLEW was at Tierra Del Mar August 7, and one was at the mouth of the
Siuslaw River the next day. On August 11 a PACIFIC GOLDEN-PLOVER was at the
South Jetty of the Columbia River.

An immature SNOWY EGRET was reported from Ridgefield NWR August 6. On August
5 a RED-SHOULDERED HAWK was at Ramsey Lake in North Portland. A VESPER
SPARROW was seen August 11 at the Portland Airport. Two BLACK TERNS were at
Ankeny NWR August 5. On August 8 a MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE were on Marys Peak in
the Coast Range. A LONG-BILLED CURLEW was at Fern Ridge Reservoir August 8.

On August 6 a BAIRD?S SANDPIPER was seen high on the Three Sisters
Mountains. A WHITE-FACED IBIS was at the Redmond Sewage Ponds August 8.
