The Red-necked Stint was seen around 7:30 this morning by Gene Hunn at the
west end of the Yakima Delta. The water is way up but one can search the
mud margins.

Today's forecast is for very high temps around 106. If you come, be prepared.

NOTE: Highway 240 is closed as is the entrance to the west end of the
delta. You must enter from the east end and drive the length of the dike
road. The entrance at the east end is just west of the Wye Neighborhood
Park at the entrance to Bateman Island.
