As of 9:30 am, the Red-necked Stint has not been seen at the Yakima
Delta. The water was high early in the morning but it started to go
down. As observers were searching, the water went back up. There is
currently little mud to check. (The water levels are totally
unpredictable. There was considerable mud last night.)

It was little consolation to those who were out there, but we had very
good looks at several Virginia Rail, a Sora, and a Stilt Sandpiper. The
more typical Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs were in close for great
opportunities for study. A Wilson's Phalarope darted among them.

We'll keep you posted.
