I am considering buying a mount to connect my scope and my husband's digital
camera. (See if we can combine hobbies.) He's has taken some fantastic shots
by putting each on their own tripod and pushing them very close together.
Works, but a lot of hassle.

He found a unit from a company in the UK that's supposed to work with a
Leica and a Nikon Coolpix 995. It's a DigiMount adapter from EagleEye
OpticZooms. I have a couple of concerns about the mechanics of the
arrangement.
1.. Has anyone had any damage to their eyepiece by doing this?
2.. What about the fact that I have a zoom eyepiece? Is that going to make
things difficult?
3.. Could the extra weight of the camera damage the lens of the camera (or
the scope eyepiece)?
If anyone out there has experience that will help us make a decision, I
would certainly appreciate hearing it! Thank you in advance.
