Subject: Solitary Sandpipier-Ridgefield NWR

Sat., today, looked for the Snowy Egret at Ridgefield NWR. Lots of Great Egrets, but no sign of the Snowy Egret. After driving past the photo blind through the trees I found a Solitary Sandpiper in the slew along with Least Sandpipers, Greater Yellowlegs. Rest Lake is very low and had ducks and Long-billed Dowitchers at the waters edge.

Also checked for the Long-eared Owl that was there 2 weeks ago and it was gone.
