Several of us stuck out the high water until noon. No
Stint. I then went over to the Walla Walla Delta and
crashed around over there, then tried for the Stint
again at about 4:15 - 6:15 PM. The water levels were
down nicely, and the mud flats were back out. Greater
and Lesser Yellowlegs, Western, Least, Semi-palmated
sandpipers in close for good looks. But no sign of
the Stint.
Still a good day birding despite dipping-out on the
Stint.
