Sightings for August 14th
At the Iona ponds were a SOLITARY SANDPIPER and 16 BAIRD'S SANDPIPERS.
At the Tsawwassen ferry jetty were a PEREGRINE FALCON, the WILLET, 4 BLACK
OYSTERCATCHERS, 3 MARBLED GODWITS and a WHIMBREL.
Sightings for August 13th
At the Tsawwassen ferry jetty were the WILLET, 5 BLACK OYSTERCATCHERS, 3
MERBLED GODWITS and a WHIMBREL.
Sightings for August 12th
At Boundary Bay, a YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRD was seen between 96th and 104th
Streets. At the mansion was a SOLITARY SANDPIPER.
Near the Patullo Bridge were an OSPREY and a MERLIN.
Out of town, a LAUGHING GULL was seen near the Departure Bay/Nanaimo ferry
terminal.
There were no sightings for August 11th

There were 4 COMMON NIGHTHAWKS over Duthie Avenue in Burnaby and 2 more over
Gleneagles Golf Course in North Vancouver.
