I spent a few early morning hours of birding before the heat began and
found a few shorebird migrants. The following were observed.

Perch Point, Potholes Reservoir:

Solitary Sandpiper - 1
Spotted Sandpiper - 1
Semipalmated Sandpiper - 1
Western Sandpiper - 27
Least Sandpiper - 8
Baird's Sandpiper - 14
Pectoral Sandpiper - 1
Wilson's Snipe - 1
Wilson's Phalarope - 4

Potholes Reservoir (accessed by Road K.5 SE):

Bonaparte's Gull - 11
Herring Gull - 1
American White Pelican - 2
Baird's Sandpiper - 4

Lind Coulee:

Greater Yellowlegs - 1
Solitary Sandpiper - 3
Spotted Sandpiper - 3
Western Sandpiper - 19
Least Sandpiper - 3
Baird's Sandpiper - 1

Migraine Lake:

Greater Yellowlegs - 5
Lesser Yellowlegs - 3
Solitary sandpiper - 3
Red-necked Phalarope - 29
Wilson's Phalarope - 1

North Potholes Reserve:

American White Pelican - 800+
Great Egret - 61
There were no shorebirds present at this location which was a surprise.
