August 11, 9:39 AM - Hi. This is Bill Tweit. It's Wednesday morning. My
phone number is 360 754 7098. Scott Mills and I, along with Bill
Shelmerdine, Alan Richards and others were at the North Cove
BLACK-TAILED GULL spot. 7:45 this morning the gull was present and
still there when we left at 8:45, mostly just roosting on the beach
along with a large flock of HEERMAN'S GULLS. There were no disturbances
while we were there. As far as we know, it's still there and looking
like it's hanging around for a while.

August 11, 2:05 PM - This is Nancy LaFramboise (509-627-3695) The
RED-NECKED STINT remains at the Yakima Delta today, although the water
is up and the views are very distant. It is still at the west end of
the delta. There is very little mud, so look for any accumulation of
peeps that you can find.

August 14, 2:51 PM - Hi. This is Steven Mlodinov. The BLACK-TAILED GULL
at North Cove around 7:30 this morning. It hung around for about an
hour, maybe longer. Also yesterday the bird was seen in the morning and
was seen again about 1:30. Other highlights -- Tokeland Marina the
alternate plumage BAR-TAILED GODWIT was present. On the shore between
Graveyard Spit and the Marina there was a GREAT EGRET at low tide. At
Bottle Beach among the thousands of shore birds there was a basic
plumage RED KNOT and an alternate plumage DUNLIN. At the St. John's
Wildlife Area, between Westport and Aberdeen there was a STILT
SANDPIPER among large numbers of GREATER and smaller numbers of LESSER
YELLOWLEGS and DOWITCHERS. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

August 15, 11:25 AM = Hi. Tom Aversa here reporting on some migrant at
the Montlake Fill this morning. There was a SOLITARY SANDPIPER with a
GREATER YELLOWLEGS, a SPOTTED SANDPIPER, a couple of DOWITCHERS. Also
some WARBLERS including YELLOWS, ORANGE-CROWNEDS, and a MACGILLIVRAYS.
