Tweeters,
Georgia Conti, Mike West and I made the pilgramage today with no luck as of 1:30 this afternoon. Lots of other birders around with a group from Oregon that had been there since early morning, Kevin Aanerud and his daughter, a group of BC birders, some local birders as well. We left while the tide was still pushing in the birds. Hope the group got lucky.

Ruth & Tweeters,

You are absolutely right. It is important that we keep up the reports so that others will know the status.

It appears that no one posted after Sunday because we were all so disappointed. I arrived there at 10:30 AM and hung around until 2:30 with an impressive array of birding talent and optics, but we could not dig out the Black-tail from the flock. I understand that the bird put in a 3 to 4 minute appearance at around 7:00 AM, but I don't think it was seen again the whole day.

Hello Birders and Tweeters,
There been a group of birders yesterday morning going for the Gull.It would be to nice to find out if the Gull was sighted again,or no one found the Gull. There are some birders out of state trying for this bird.So even if the Gull is not sighted one day it looks as he appear only every other day.Let's keep up with reports of this rare sighting to let birders know to stay an extra day to get this bird.
