This morning at about 9:00, we watched a brown pelican fly up the Reach,
heading towards Devils Head from the river delta. I imagine it could be the
same bird that's been loitering around Budd Inlet, but I think it's just as
likely that it's another bird - we've seen as many as three at once in the
Reach in recent falls.
